Diving into September.
31 August 2007September is upon me already.
It’s hard to believe, really. Hard to believe that we are approaching winter with such speed. This summer has been…strangely satisfying in many ways. This year has indeed been one of new things and new beginnings. Whats more, it’s been alot of fun. And now, as I head into fall, and with Selphie back in school, and things beginning to settle down a bit, I can start to get back to work on a few things ive been sliding on the last two months due to logistical nightmares. I have been slacking on stuff important to me on a personal/professional basis…only because of some uncontrollable events in life. Time to delve back into things.
Another thing I would like to point out, September of this year is the 5 year anniversary of this blog. So, while I am busy with other things, I am going to treat you to some “Best of” material from years past. Starting on Monday, I will be making regular short posts that will direct you to some of the past posts here on Double Cluepon Day.
I have always written for my own benefit, more than anyone else’s really. However, Selphie and a few of my friends have pointed out that occasionally I have let rip a few good pieces. As this blog is 5 years old, and has alot of history…who wants to go through it all? So, I have gone back through, and re-read each and every post, and selected what I consider to be the best. But you know, if you happen to know of a post that should be categorized under “Best of” … let me know. Ill be sure to consider it. =)
Many blogs get cast aside, or wind up dead via misuse. This blog has been a godsend for me. While I may be disparate at times with my posting, I always come back…this place is like an old friend for me.
