5 September 2007Anyone who has read, or reads this blog long enough will come to understand something very important about me. I am only intolerant of one thing, and one thing only: Intolerance. Of any kind.
Intolerance is really the root of all evil. Some people say it’s money, but I would propose that money breeds and funds intolerance. Intolerance of another because of status, race, religion, color, creed…all of it is the true blight on humanity.
So, as you can well imagine, I certainly do not stand for it when it’s occurring outside my door…
I was about to sit down, with my kid to eat dinner, and, about 30 or so kids, ranging in ages from 9-16 were outside my neighbor’s house, ranting and raving, yelling just about every racial slur you could imagine.
After about three minutes of this, I went out there.
I may have to put up with alot of shit in the course of my life, but people screaming racial epithets while I am trying to eat is not ever going to be one of them.
