Followup: Police Officer drops her suit.
12 October 2007Evidentially, Sgt. Eichhorn got the message. She has Dropped her suit.
What’s more, the city has removed Sgt. Bitch of the year and placed her on leave.
The whole thing has been a dark chapter in the annals of stupidity. The saddest part about it all, is what the whole incident says about greed in this country.
Being a police officer, for the best of them is like a calling. They have a desire to serve. Not all cops are good ones, and not all cops are bad ones. There are alot of problems with police in this country, of that nobody should have any doubt. But, it’s not a personal thing, its a culture thing. But, despite all of the culture problems with police, the blue brotherhood had never stooped so low as Sgt. Eichhorn.
Let’s hope the city takes a good look at what they once called their “Best Sergeant”. And let’s hope they get through to her, that what she did was such incredibly poor form, especially for a public servant, that she owes an apology.
Let’s hope she gets a big old slice of humble pie.
